Want to elope...but also want to spend time with your favorite people?? Take a page out of this couple's book! Chris & Rachael opted to celebrate their wedding day at a friend's property just outside of Portland, OR, After getting ready at the house, they walked down into the woods for a private ceremony, officiated by the bride's cousin. Sealing their vows through handfasting under a bough of pines & moss brought a distinct Middle Earth feel to their day.


After their vows, we wandered around the property to take couple's portraits, and made sure that the bride's heart horse and the couple's two pups made an appearance. At the conclusion of portraits, we wandered back to their reception with their closest family & friends, covered with stunning western details that brought a gorgeous boho vibe. The night ended by the bonfire, soaking in the wonderful fall chill of an Oregon September!
