Maroon Bells, CO - 8.14.24


Bri & Yancy flew to Colorado to spend their elopement day among the mountains of Aspen, CO. While many choose to utilize the Amphitheater at Maroon Bells, Bri & Yancy decided to take their adventure a bit further! As it was just the two of them, we were able to take advantage of the fact that they had free range of elopement locations within Maroon Bells Wilderness! After meeting at the parking lot (remember to get the permit for your time slot, folks!), we started the journey past Maroon Lake, taking the trail a couple of miles up into the heart of the mountains.


We reached our destination at Crater Lake just beneath the Maroon Bells, just in time for these two to say their vows to one another. Since Colorado is a self-solemnization state, there were no other formalities to take care of...so there was time to play! We skipped rocks, geeked out over the awe-inspiring mountain views, and just took in the gorgeous day. We took our time hiking back down to the parking lot, making sure to say hello to the friendly pika that scurried by, and of course to get in some photos after the sun was fully down for the day.
