There's typically a reason couples elope, whether that be to have a day truly focused on themselves and their love story, or because the planning and bureaucracy that planning a full-scale wedding entails simply doesn't speak to them as a couple.


Azalyah and Mikayela's reasoning?? They wanted to be able to get legally married privately before their larger celebration in April. There is something freeing about being able to speak your mind fully and completely to your person, without worrying about having a large audience hanging around to listen to your every word. It was SUCH a privilege to be allowed into the room as their vows were spoken (and boy oh boy did this here photographer both chuckle and sniffle), and be allowed the honor of capturing such sweet moments!
